Bitcoin Hard Fork: Our Position - Service Will Run With No Restrictions

We will not be suspending service in anyway, deposits or withdrawals and will continue to run in full to provide you a great service.

by Betcoin on July 29th, 2017

We would like to take this opportunity to let you know our plans as we prepare for the potential disruptions to the Bitcoin (BTC) network. We must state that our primary focus is always on you our great customers and we will always make decisions with your best interests, safety and security in mind. In the event of a User Activated Hard Fork (UAHF) on August 1, 2017, the new currency created would be an alt coin like LTC or ETH and would not be supported. This new currency has been proposed to be called Bitcoin Cash (BCC). Depending on its benefits and user demand, we may support it in the future.

BTC would continue to be supported and will always be fully supported. We will not be suspending service in anyway, deposits or withdrawals and will continue to run in full to provide you a great service. We may increase confirmation times to 3 confirmations but will update this thread no later than 31, July 2017 if we decide to do so. Withdrawals may undergo a bit more scrutiny but will not be delayed. We believe that the bitcoin network will remain wholly unaffected by the transgressions over the next 30 days.

As always, we will also continue to support LTC and ETH with no delays or issues. Again, our focus is on you our great players and we will continue to do what is right for you. We thank you very much for playing with us and the best of luck to everyone!

Not smart to delay withdrawals after this post. Why even post this? Several sites are suspending transactions soon, so today is the day to move btc.

We are not delaying withdrawals. Just examining everything deeper. Please read the article before making a comment like this. We are not suspending transactions and everything will remain as normal. Good luck to everyone.

other sites actually suspending w/d ? wow really .. which sites?
Betcoin would never EVER deny you access to your coin, that will not happen. And as for withdraws we take some pride in the speed of our withdraws, and the post was made to reassure players of this.

Nearly every bitcoin/gambling affiliated site halted btc w/d yesterday. Most sites have also increased the confirmation requirement on any btc deposit as well. Just too many people out here that can not be trusted. Hackers/Scammers have had months to prepare their schemes for this event & I advise everyone to beware.

For what it's worth, most sites are guaranteeing normal w/d will begin as early as Aug 2nd.

I am not sure what to think of Betcoin continuing business as usual, but I appreciate their courage. :)

Happy Forking!

Its going to be a interesting week or two as we figure out what all this means for the future. Hold on to the pants, folks!

Sun, 07/30/2017 - 02:35

agree... if you are smart, you will withdraw, and hold the btc in your own privately controlled wallet during this fork, so that you get your BCC also. If you dont control your btc in a private wallet when it forks, you WILL NOT get your BCC also. Remember how ETH forked....same thing. To leave it on any site during the fork in just leaving money on the table for no good reason.

lol they keep taking my post down cause they dont want others to know how to get there bitcoin cash.

Will we have access to the alternate fork's coin stored at our deposit addresses? Or, will betcoin keep those coin? There are serious implications that need to be addressed concerning those questions....

Sun, 07/30/2017 - 20:39

Actually i explained it a good way and told users how to get it easy but its ok for others to post links but notme. I guess they really dont want you to withdraw your money here. but any ways ill report it. Even though the post had a bunch of thumbs up before plo or who ever took it down.

Most gambling sites are not going to give you what should get on the fork. Everyone that has a private key will get bitcoin cash equal and free to the amount of bitcoin they hold August 1st. Promblem with having a private key vs. a exchange is. If the chain freezes or lags to sell you bcc you will have to wait and with a exchange that supports you dont. Also there is only a few wallets to claim your bcc and you risk your btc private key doing so. Exchange is just given you the bcc without private key risk.

Sometimes when a coin hard forks the price can go 70/30 making bitcoin loose money but you can easily sell the fork currency. If bitcoin crashed and bcc becomes first everyone looses that didn't take there money off these gambling sites.

I suggest using this exchange and push all your bitcoin here. August 1st they are giving you the equal amount of bcc which is currently selling for 400$ a coin. Not only is there a possible freeze on the chains but by having your currency there you can sell it right away for a profit. Most these casino are going to do this. Don't let casinos take your free money!!

Just don't let your money disappear when sites that don't support fork are going to make a pay day off that at by claiming the bcc.

Again this exchange I's supporting the fork.

Yes I'm using a referral link but who doesnt? Was my information not helpful?

Sun, 07/30/2017 - 20:42

Sucks when you try to help others and dont expect nothin in return unless they so chose sites like these try to stick people to not get what they should.
Or if the post goes down check my steemit link

they own the wallets here, you are not entitled to a damn thing bcc has to offer on betcoin

if you want it, then should have wd and held in a private wallet bottom line!
