King of the Online Super Series, LetsGumbol- Tipsy Talk with isnortbooze (BTC Giveaway Inside!)

LetsGumbol found a way to win here, and you can too.

by isnortbooze on October 17th, 2017

On April 15, 2011 the United States government shut down all major poker sites in the United States, a day which is now referred to as Black Friday. This was a dark day for thousands of internet poker pros, who relied on these sites for their income. Many people either switched over to live poker or took real jobs, assuming that online poker was done for good. After a clear obstruction of our freedom, over the next several years sites like Betcoin popped up to save the day. It is now possible to, once again, make a living playing online poker, and LetsGumbol has demonstrated this by winning over $60,000 in the last month.

Online Super Series
A few times a year, Betcoin hosts an Online Super Series which features a wide range of tournaments of every buy-in level with huge prize pools. This series is capped off by at least one Million Dollar Guaranteed tournament, an amount that previously hadn't been seen since Black Friday. The King of the Online Super Series has by far been Betcoin's LetsGumbol (new nickname KOTOSS, pass it on).

Some Recent Wins
Some of his many big scores include:
$12,618 (2.25BTC) in OSS #15 $100,000 Guaranteed
$31,168 (5.5BTC) in OSS #20 $150,000 Guaranteed
$4,155 (.75BTC) in OSS BIG10 $30,000 Guaranteed
$7,216 (1.3 BTC) in OSS #68 $75,000 Guaranteed
That's a lot of Bitcoin!

Interview with LetsGumbol
I got the chance to speak with LetsGumbol about his big wins, tournament strategy and how he got to where he is today.

Invest in Gumbol
Many of us thought Black Friday would be the end of online poker. It was not. Betcoin continues to step their game up with huge guaranteed tournaments, fast withdrawls and the best VIP program in the business. LetsGumbol found a way to win here, and you can too. Gumbol is a prime example that if you work hard at something you can succeed. He was intelligent about his bankroll management and worked his way up the ranks little by little to enter the high stakes online scene. It is good to invest in a player when he is hot. His confidence level is high and he is playing at the top of his game. LetsGumbol has offered up some shares of his $2100 buyin Million Dollar Guaranteed tournament this weekend. If you are interested in investing in him, comment below or find him in the player chat.

What a day to see my UB account and funds had vanished into thin air, Like stated after taking the hit, recouping/rebuilding went to live/local games, Like Gumbol I also loved watching the televised games, Pretty much any game as long as they where playing cards. Things i took from the interview enter more tournaments, enter higher tounaments, dont stress the lows, and finally call LetsGambol when three handed and equal stacked at the FT.

Thanks for another great interview isnort, Lots of good info
Stay Suited and GL Sunday!

jcmillionman: very nice interview...

Listening to this interview & hearing his rebuttals you can feel the long grind/work he's been putting in. The "what are you doing now question" & how to play at beginning of tourney hit home for me, everyone call me a bad player because I play loose tryna build at stack early on lol. This was another inspiring interview for a young 32 year old poker player, cheers @ isnortbooze & @ LetsGumbol aka KOTOSS!!!

Good interview and great games. He looks like he cant remember his own name right now so many final tables and wins, it would be hard to remember the stand outs . As for playing tournaments I totally agree, longer time in between wins but payouts are higher when you finally do. Sounds like a man with a plan and a level head to get the job done, good luck to you.

Fri, 10/20/2017 - 09:22

My aspiration in poker is to win the game, overcome myself, overcome myself. When I play any tour, the hardest thing is to overcome my own barrier, self-confidence, calm sometimes disappears, and when I really do, I can win. Anything, the more I become stronger. Most of all, I want to prove that poker really makes us richer than we can.

Mentat: Hello Scott and thank you
Sat, 10/21/2017 - 20:39

Hello Scott and thank you kindly for your entry, sir. I hope you win us some money man. I was going to buy a piece of your action but unfortunately it would have comprimised about a third of my bankroll and also I was thinking about sending a chip to unknown betcoiner "yonisit1" but I also elected to not do that as well so all in all I really hope you win us some funds man and oh by the way, take it down. Remember Scott, I know your a pro, but, I want you to be patient and wait for the right hands, ok? If you have AA - GO ALLIN. If you had Ace King, maybe do something different to get a leg up on your comps. Thanks man. I will surely post on your steemit as well man and let me know if there is anything I can do to help you, anything at all man. I want you to know that I will be cheering you on, on the sideline, like Phil Ivey's fans did at the Wsop. Thanks. Oh and also, by the way man, if I can't make it to the stream, I hope I am still included, ok man? Thanks. Oh and one more thing, I saw your action with gumbol and I think you are even better than Jonny as a broadcaster and writer, so if poker doesn't work out for you, actually I think that might be something you should get into as well. Oh and one more thing, I'm your biggest fan, this is stan. OH and one more thing, I think you are a dirty redneck. Thanks.

I know the giveaway has finished, but I just wanted to say, cudos to letsgumbo, and his hard work, because online poker is hard work and challenging. I just started playing poker for fun a few years back and I am 53, but Its not become a income for me because I dont invest the time in really learning the game. etc. but your interview was inspiring and I picked up some pointers. Maybe one day I can be able to play games for higher limits and move up from micro stakes. Best of luck to you gumbo and all your stakers and supporters...Job well done and hope it continues. darlene
