The full rules for the bad beat jackpot are below and you need to follow the rules precisely to be eligible for the Jackpot. You must 1) play Hold’em at a Bad Beat Jackpot table and 2) lose a hand containing 4 “Jacks” (or better)!

Please remember: the last cards in both your and your opponent’s hand should play – this is a mandatory condition.

Stake payout structure:

Official Rules and Regulations:

1. Not every table qualifies for the Bad Beat Jackpot. The bad beat jackpot tables will have (BadBeat) printed clearly at the top when you open the table.

2. There must be a minimum of four or more players dealt in the hand and a rake must be collected in order to qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot.

3. In order to qualify the losing hand must contain four Jacks or better.

4. Players that do not participate and are sitting out of the hand will not qualify for the bad beat jackpot.

5. The winner and loser of the hand must utilize both hole cards in order to qualify.

6. The hand must be showed down after the river card is dealt in order to qualify.

7. In the event that more than two hands qualify for the BBJ in one hand, the jackpot will be awarded to the two highest hands at showdown. The highest hand shown down will be considered the winner and the second highest hand will be considered the loser.

8. If the bad beat jackpot is hit simultaneously at two separate tables, the jackpot will be awarded to the hand that began first according to our server game time.

9. Any collusion at the tables will result in automatic disqualification from the bad beat jackpots. Players must make their own decisions without influence from chat or other players. Chat will be reviewed after every jackpot is qualified. There is a 10% house fee and a 20% restocking fee applied when awarded.

10. Betcoin Poker reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time.

11. General rules and conditions apply. All management decisions are final.

plo8monster: Takes smart player to build a BBJ hand
Wed, 07/27/2016 - 05:52

I have come close online a few times, sometimes when im playing BBJ table I consider allowing a pot the opportunity to grow if it has BBJ potential .... I think a lot of chances are missed by players who sit at a BBJ and run straddles or kill pots... It takes lightning in a bottle to begin with and the players involved have to spot that opportunity and allow it a chance to make.
The odds of this and lightning at same time are fairly astronomical ..... but thats the really cool part about odds they happen. Lotto's have millions of players we have thousands and even less actually playing BBJP tables... Now factor that into the equation and the answer is :

Eventually :)

Logistically you cant say it will happen sooner than later.
Quite the opposite with so many stars having to line up just right...

But thats what is so exciting is that it very well could hit this week ..all odds do eventually hit
Im rooting for soon !! How bout you ?

WillyThePimp: so nobody has ever hit it?
Wed, 07/27/2016 - 19:27

so plo8monster, are you saying nobody has ever hit it yet?

plo8monster: correct ..not yet ... Doyles
Wed, 07/27/2016 - 19:47

correct ..not yet ... Doyles room before Phil and ACR bought it was up to 500.000$
Doyles room was slightly larger than Betcoin is currently and it reached 500,000$
and then it was hit 3 times in 1 week ... BBJP are famous for getting huge ..
they get huge because they are so rarely ever hit..

Good luck Willy, i hope you snap it !!! life changing amounts of coin :) !!!!

WeebleWobble: What Blind level do we need to play at?

All of the cash tables on Betcoin are labeled "BadBeat"

Is it possible to win the BadBeat Jackpot playing as low as .02/.04?

PokeHerStars: Congrats and GL to moneycoin!

Congrats and GL to moneycoin! I'm very curious to see if Betcoin will pay out correctly. I remember when funds were taken out for a promo tourney years ago, yet the amount didn't change.

The hand was a true bad beat; A2cc vs 67cc, straight flush vs straight flush with all conditions met.

I doubt I'm the only one who will avoid Betcoin if they slip out of paying on this very rare occasion.

"the last cards in both your and your opponent’s hand should play" both hole cards need to be used? for example hole cards like the above Ac2c and say it was 7c8c and the board was 3c4c5c6c xx This would not be a considered for the BBJ?
