It's that time of the year college football fans from around the world have been waiting for, the National Championship game! This coming week, the two best teams in the NCAA will face off against one another for one of the hardest, and most prestigious trophies you can win in the sport of football. To further add, the two teams in the finals this year both made it to the National Championship with undefeated records, proving time and time again that they're the two teams to beat. Michigan and Washington are the two teams who will battle it out in the final game of the year, as they both hold a 14-0 record. Both their previous wins were very close fought, both are very much deserving of competing in the most important game of the year. Let's take a look at what it took for these teams to get here, and what should happen in this year's NCAA National Championship game!

Michigan vs Washington Preview and Analysis
The Michigan Wolverines are clearly the best team in the nation, and there's no surprise we're going to see them play for the title. Defeating Alabama in an overtime thriller, Michigan showed why it's important to have a veteran quarterback, as they trailed behind from as much as a touchdown in the final minutes, and were able to force overtime and go on to win. Michigan has the best defence in the nation, and we saw that against Alabama as they consistently were able to shut down the pass game, and obtain multiple sacks when on the field. If Michigan can continue to shut down the pass game, something their upcoming opponent excels in, there's no reason that we shouldn't see Michigan lift the trophy at the end of this game.

The Washington Huskies have surprises us time and time again, and now going into the National Championship after an impressive win over Texas. Penix is the heart and soul of this team, and he showed against why he's arguably the best quarterback in the nation as he threw for 430 yards while having no interceptions. Washington excels on the offensive end, but they struggle on the defensive side of things, allow some of the most points for against amongst ranked teams. If Washington wants to win this game, they'll have to do so by stopping Michigan's run game, something that could barely manage against Texas. Washington has surprised us many of times, and if they can execute properly, this could be another one of those times.

Both of these teams are the most deserving to be in the title game, but sadly, only one can win. Though this could be a very close game, it's hard not to side with Michigan in this game. They've been the best team in the nation all year long, and with a veteran quarterback and a veteran coach, look for them to finally get the job done, and become National Champions.
